News / UAE signed TIEAs with Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
As part of its strategy to enhance the UAE’s relations with different trade partners, the Ministry of Finance’s (MoF) delegation, headed by Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, began on Wednesday 4 November 2015 its official visit to Denmark. The visits of the delegation to Scandinavian countries is aimed at exploring ways of developing and promoting partnership and exchanging experience on financial and economic affairs.

Norway:

The UAE and Norway signed an agreement on exchange of information for tax purposes on Wednesday 4 November 2015, according to the Ministry of Finance.

The agreement was signed by Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs and Siv Jensen, Norwegian Minister of Finance in the presence of Younis Haji Al Khoori, Undersecretary of MoF and other officials.

Denmark:

The UAE and Denmark signed the agreement on the exchange of information for tax purposes on Thursday 5 November 2015 during the UAE delegation tour to Scandinavian countries.

The agreement was signed by Obaid Humaid Al Tayer and Karshen Lauritzen, Danish Minister of Taxation, in the presence of Rashid Al Suwauidi, Charge D’Affairs of the UAE Embassy in Sweden, Morten Lynge, consu;-general and Regional Trade Coordinator in the Middle East.

Sweden:

The UAE and Sweden signed an agreement on the echange of information for tax purposed on Friday, November 6 2015 in Stockholm - the last stop of the tour of Scandinavian countries by the UAE delegation.

The agreement was signed by Obaid Humaid Al Tayer and Per Bolund, Swedish Minister for Financial Markets and Consumer Affairs.
