Good news for investors looking to invest in Cyprus: Cyprus has been voted as one of the top 5 safest countries in the world, and the first safest country amongst countries with a population of less than 5 million.
The study, undertaken by Value Penguin, analysed seven different data categories in order to determine the ranking of more than 100 countries; Population, CO2 emissions, life expectancy, number of national police personnel per 100,000 people, traffic deaths, thefts and assaults were taken into analysis.
According to the results of the study, the Republic of Cyprus ranked 21st overall in national police personnel per 100,000 people (with 466) and 22nd in thefts per 100,00 people with a very low number of 111. The overall safety score of Cyprus is 63.
